Terbentuknya sistem keuangan berstandar emas sejak 1875 atas inisiasi Inggris yang kemudian diikuti oleh negara-negara dunia lainnya. Standar emas berbeda dengan mata uang fiat (fiat money).

Delighted to have met President Talon of #Benin today in NY. We discussed the results of the costing exercise of the Sustainable Development Goals, and options to finance the large spending needs of the country. #UNGA #SDGs
