Bomena adalah semacam kebiasaan di Bhutan, dimana remaja lelaki mengajak remaja perempuan untuk melakukan aktivitas seks. Aktivitas ini rawan akan kasus hamil di luar nikah, kemudian pemerkosaan, dsb.
KESIMPULAN:
Sebenarnya ide bahwa Bhutan adalah negara yang bahagia itu menarik, terlepas dari contoh kasus seperti pada "Bomena". Hanya saja ini menjadi ironi ketika dua isu antara kata "bahagia" dan "rawan pemerkosaan" disatukan. Hal unik yang musti dicaritahu adalah, bagaimana proses sang Raja mempopulerkan taste "bahagia" ini sehingga rakyat-nya bisa berpartisipasi untuk menciptakan kebahagiaan? Ini yang menarik sebenarnya.
