How young people view the world and its challenges?
1. They’re very concerned about climate change,
2. They distrust the media, big business and
governments,
3. They aren’t lazy, they’re workaholics,
4. They’re optimistic about technology,
5. They care about others.
With the largest youth population in history,
there is an unprecedented opportunity for young people to take an active role
in shaping our future. The #ShapersSurvey was designed to
highlight youth perceptions on the state of the world and action-oriented
recommendations in five areas:
1. Global Outlook,
2. Governance,
3. Values,
4. Technology, and
5. the Workplace.
On 5 October 2016, the threshold for entry into
force of the Paris Agreement was
achieved. The Paris Agreement entered into force on 4 November 2016.
Paris Agreement (Kesepakatan Paris) menghendaki pada tahun 2018
semua negara bisa melaporkan pencapaiannya terhadap tujuan yang disepakati di
akhir COP 21 meliputi pengurangan emisi, adaptasi dan pendanaan.

By 1941, Burnham had moved on, as he published
his first great book of prophecy, called The
Managerial Revolution.
Having written these critical essays, Orwell then
tried to make his case against Burnham in another way. This anti-Burnham
argument became a novel—the novel called Nineteen
Eighty-Four.
But beliefs about “community” have always been
vital to human societies. In many ways, the last 200 years have been battles
about how local communities try to
adapt or fight back against growing global pressures—especially economic and
cultural, but often political and even military.
The so-called “world order” is really the accumulation of local problem-solving.
